Prof. Jan Willem Proper
Prof. Proper teaches Supply Chain Management at Breda University of Applied Sciences in The Netherlands. He has fulfilled teaching assignments (International Business, Supply Chain Management) and research projects in countries all over the globe. He has an impressive resume in both education, including program development, leadership and international collaboration and in research projects from both governmental and private organizations and in addition performed in the Boards of different professional organizations like Council of Supply Chain Management (USA), VLM (Dutch Logistic Organization for Professionals), KIVI (Dutch National Society of Professional Engineers, NL) and Feani (Federation of European Engineers, BE). He is an academic reviewer for the Journal of Transport and Supply Management.
He has specialized in Supply Chain Strategy and Resilience Management. He holds a PhD in Philosophy (Transport and Logistics study on Resilience Management) from Stellenbosch University, South Africa and M.A. in Economics of Tilburg University (NL).
