Swiss School of Management gets Re-Certified with EduQua

Re-certification of SSM by EduQua

SSM Research Center is happy to announce that our partner and degree awarding university, Swiss School of Management, has been re-certified by quality label EduQua.

The Swiss School of management wrote the following on the subject:

Since fourteen years, for the “fourth time” in a row, the Swiss School of Management gets the prestigious quality assurance label “EduQua”, awarded by SQS in Switzerland.

The first Swiss quality label geared towards adult continuing education, eduQua is made up of over 1000 schools, institution and academies in all of Switzerland. EduQua is an accreditation body recognized and supported by the Swiss Confederate Government; it’s the first quality certification for public and private educational institutions in Switzerland. EduQua is the premier quality assurance accreditation scheme for continuing education (can be general education, further education, professional education).

The Swiss Conference of Cantonal Ministers of Education (EDK) endorses eduQua as an officially recognized quality assurance scheme. EDK highly recommends the institution of higher education accredited by eduQua. In more and more cantons, the certification is a requirement for public funding.

The State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) also endorses EduQua.

The eduQua-Certificate is valid for three years, after that it is possible to renew it.

In addition to that each year an interim audit will be done through the certification agency. Within this interim audit it will be claryfied whether:

essential changes happened to the institution;

the eduQua-Minimum-Standards still are achieved;

in the meantime possibly given requirements have been fulfilled;

the institution still actively practices development of quality.
